The Office 2007 ribbon system, is a modern and effective UI. MS offers free licensing of the ribbon design, probably because it knows other companies will want to copy it. The license is free as long as it is not used for a product that directly competes with office.

MS do not supply the controls only guidelines on how to reproduce an accurate copy of the ribbon. Your applications implementation of the ribbon must match these guidelines to provide uniformity and to comply with MS license.

This project is my implementation of the Ribbon. It is a series of classes that can be used in any .NET application to add this effective control to your application. Currently in development I can not release the code until it complies with the ribbon license guidelines. Here is an early preview.
